Brithys crini is a moth of the family Noctuidae that feeds on Pancratium maritimum, a plant of the family Amarillidaceae, that produces alkaloids as secondary metabolites to defend from predators. In this experiment, a total of 114 larvae were collected and dissected in different seasons to assess the seasonal variation of the microbiota of these insects.
