资源简介:
Sweet sorghum is a crop with a high potential for replacing maize in the biofuel industry in the United States because it has a high sucrose content. In addition, it has a higher tolerance to low soil N than maize, which could avoid many environmental problems due to excessive use of N fertilizers. In this study we assessed the changes in the soil and root-associated microbiomes of many sweet sorghum genotypes differing in the sensitivity to N-stress, in order to understand the role of associated microbial communities in the sorghum varieties tolerant to low soil N.
