Toward Earthquake Early Warning in Northern Vietnam: A Regional Test of Rapid P-Wave Magnitude Parameters

This dataset comprises P-wave-onset waveform records from the Northern Vietnam seismic network, covering small-to-moderate earthquakes (ML 2.0–6.5) within the study region. For each event, vertical-component acceleration was corrected for instrument response, and windowed to the main signal based on pre-set manual pick P-wave and surface wave speed of 3 km/s. The dataset after applied the SNR threshold comprises 519 station records from 192 events. Note: this dataset supports a manuscript currently under submission; the associated magnitude-scaling analysis and results are not included in this release.
