Availability of WiFi areas offered by public bodies in the municipalities of Emilia-Romagna

<p>Since 2011, the wifi areas offered by public bodies in Emilia-Romagna have been collected annually. They are also available in Excel. The data was collected by looking on the websites for indications on wifi areas in the municipal territory. The research was carried out: in the institutional site of the Municipality, looking for "wi-fi in the Municipality" on Google, in the sites of the service providers (identified with the first mode; in the sites of provincial administrations - culture sector - libraries since many of the wifi areas concern municipal libraries. If it has a value of 0, all other data collected is not present (empty cell). Other public bodies such as schools, healthcare companies and hospitals are not subject to the survey. The data is collected by ERVET spa on behalf of the Emilia-Romagna Region – Coordination of the Regional Telematic Plan, which is the owner of the data.
