Dataset for the study of phenol reductive amination on Pd-based catalysts: Catalyst synthesis, textural and chemical characterization

Here we present the results obtained from the synthesis and characterization of Pd/Supported (Supports= C, SiO2, Al2O3) catalysts. The data includes thermogravimetric analysis (TGA-MS), temperature programmed reduction (TPR), N2 physisorption (BET) and Electron microscopy images (TEM, HR-TEM) obtained from the physical-chemical characterization of these materials. Moreover, a set of experimental data associated to the surface characterization of these catalysts by adsorption/desorption of pyridine assisted by spectroscopy (FTIR-PyR) and CO adsorption by diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transformed spectroscopy (DRIFTS-CO) are also included in the dataset. In addition, relevant data about the catalytic activity tests in the amination of phenol with cyclohexylamine over Pd/Al2O3 catalysts are also provided. A more detailed description and a comprehensive discussion on the role of the catalytic properties in the phenol amination reaction is included in associated published papers. The data is organized in four folders: 1- Raw data file of Pd/Supported catalysts (S=Al2O3, SiO2, C), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA-MS), reducibility tests (TPR), material morphology images (TEM and HRTEM) and results from N2-adsorption isotherms (BET) recorded at 77 K. 2- Excel files with the results of the IR experiments (FTIR-Pyridine) to determine the nature of the surface acid sites IR experiments. 3- Files with the IR spectra of CO adsorption/desorption recorded at 30 °C with a Nicolet iS50 worked in the Omnic 9.1 software. 4- Excel files with the chromatographic results of the catalytic activity tests for Pd/Al2O3, indicating the retention time, peak area, peak height, among other results, performed in a gas chromatograph (SRI, Model 8610).

2. 用于表征催化剂表面酸性位点性质的红外实验(傅里叶变换红外光谱-吡啶吸附,FTIR-Pyridine)结果Excel文件;
3. 采用Nicolet iS50红外光谱仪、借助Omnic 9.1软件采集,于30 ℃下记录的一氧化碳吸附/脱附红外光谱文件;
4. 采用SRI 8610型气相色谱仪开展的Pd/Al₂O₃催化活性测试的色谱结果Excel文件,包含保留时间、峰面积、峰高等相关测试数据。
