Eurobodalla Bush Heritage - Then and Now

Mystery Bay Coastcare will undertake this project with the sponsorship of Eurobodalla Shire Council. This project will utilise a new awareness raising and training technique to conduct a series of 4 field days with a focus on the Aboriginal heritage and history of sites combined with Bushcare training in native plant and weed identification and the latest weed control techniques. This will raise community awareness of their environment and encourage participation in their local Landcare group. Landcare groups will undertake control of weeds, including Weeds of National Significance (Bridal Creeper, Asparagus Fern, Bitou Bush, Blackberry), alongside paid contractors, so the volunteers can learn skills on-the-job and on their own sites.

神秘湾海岸管护团队（Mystery Bay Coastcare）将在尤罗博尔达拉郡议会（Eurobodalla Shire Council）的赞助下实施本项目。本项目将采用全新的环境宣教与培训范式，开展共计4场实地研习活动，活动聚焦场地的原住民遗产与历史科普，同时融合本土植物识别、杂草识别的丛林管护（Bushcare）培训，以及最新的杂草防控技术。此举将提升社区居民对自身所处环境的认知水平，并鼓励其参与本地土地管护（Landcare）团体。土地管护团体将与付费承包商协同开展杂草防控工作，防控对象涵盖国家重点杂草名录（Weeds of National Significance）中的新娘藤（Bridal Creeper）、天门冬蕨（Asparagus Fern）、比托灌丛（Bitou Bush）与黑莓（Blackberry），以便志愿者能够在实操岗位与自有场地中学习相关技能。
