Sedimentary methanotrophic communities along a trophic gradient: a study of five temperate lakes

We investigate relationships between the community structure and abundance of sedimentary methanotrophic bacteria and trophic history, methane oxidation rates, and redox zones across five lakes that differ in present-day trophic state.
