Heat stress negatively impacts pig production and swine health. The lack of functional sweat glands make it difficult for pigs to dissipate endogenous heat. Reports have suggested that porcine response to heat stress might be sex dependent. So in-order to understand the response to pigs to heat stress, we performed RNAseq analysis on male and female Duroc pigs exposed to heat stress (33 deg c / 24 hours). And compared the response between treatment and control and between sex.
