SaWS impact assessment: Methods and Results

This dataset contains the detailed Methods and Results for the following paper: “Sargassum Watch System: an online tool to address societal needs” by the same authors of this dataset. Specifically, the dataset contains the following files: SaWS_Google_Analysitcs_Methods.docx SaWS_Google_Analysitcs_Results.xlsx These are the methods of using Google Analytics to generate Web access statistics, and the corresponding statistics. SaWS_Literature_Review_Methods.docx SaWS_Literature_Review_Results.xlsx These are the methods of conducting literature review, and the corresponding review results including the publication title and author names as well as how they are related to SaWS. SaWS_Media_Coverage_Methods.docx SaWS_Media_Coverage_Results.xlsx These are the methods of searching for relevant public media coverage (both online and print, in both English and Spanish), and the corresponding search results on how SaWS or the personnel behind SaWS were cited by the public media. SaWS_Survey_Questions.docx SaWS_Survey_Answers_anonymized.xlsx SaWS_Survey_User_Quotes_anonymized.docx These are the methods to conduct an online survey, along with the survey questions. The Excel file contains all detailed answers to the survey questions, with names and email addresses anonymized to protect privacy. The last file contains user narratives on how SaWS was used by them or by their organizations. SaWS_Literature_Review_Methods.docx 与 SaWS_Literature_Review_Results.xlsx：二者分别为开展文献综述的方法文档，以及对应的综述结果文件，其中包含文献标题、作者姓名，以及各文献与SaWS的关联情况。 3. SaWS_Media_Coverage_Methods.docx 与 SaWS_Media_Coverage_Results.xlsx：二者分别为检索相关公开媒体报道的方法文档（涵盖英文、西班牙语的线上与平面媒体），以及关于SaWS或其研发团队被公开媒体引用情况的检索结果文件。 4. SaWS_Survey_Questions.docx、SaWS_Survey_Answers_anonymized.xlsx 与 SaWS_Survey_User_Quotes_anonymized.docx：其中前两份文件为开展线上调研的方法文档与调研问卷；Excel文件包含调研问卷的全部详细作答数据，为保护受访者隐私，已对所有姓名与电子邮箱地址进行匿名化处理；最后一份文档收录了用户自述内容，描述其本人或所在组织使用SaWS的相关场景，同样已对所有用户姓名进行匿名化处理以保障隐私安全。
