Intestinal microbiota of mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio) fed a control diet and diets containing black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae meal

This study aimed to investigate the effects of dietary black soldier fly (BSF: Hermetia illucens) larvae meal on the intestinal microbiota of juvenile mirror carp (Cyprinus carpio). Fish were fed either a control diet or diets containing BSF meal for eight weeks. At the end of the feeding trial, changes in the digesta-associated microbiota were assessed.
