Data for: The Determinants of Green Credit and Its Impact on the Performance of Chinese Banks

We use bank-level data collected from BvD database. Only commercial banks are included in the sample. Green credit data of sample banks is manually collected from banks’ Social responsibility report. The sample consists of 20 banks over 7 years of data, from 2011 to 2017. Some banks have zero cells for data during some years in their financial reports, which creates gaps in the dataset.

本研究采用源自BvD数据库的银行层面数据，样本仅纳入商业银行。样本银行的绿色信贷数据通过手工从各银行发布的社会责任报告中采集得到。本次样本涵盖20家银行2011至2017年共7年的面板数据。部分银行在部分年份的财务报告中存在无有效数据的单元格，由此导致数据集存在数据缺口。
