资源简介:
Laying hens Rosa 1 were immunized with two doses of DNA vaccine, based on the hemagglutinin (HA) DNA from H5N1 virus, in comparison to the control group, which was administered an empty vector (pCI). Additional groups of Rosa 1 hens were treated with one dose of above described vaccine or empty vector. Gene expression changes in the spleens of chickens were investigated at 7 day post last vaccination dose. Rosa 1 laying hens maintained at an experimental poultry house in standard bedding conditions, were divided into four groups. Animals from ‘Rosa[2x]’ group were vaccinated twice with DNA vaccine, based on the hemagglutinin (HA) DNA from H5N1 virus, at 7 and 21 day post hatch (dph). Group ‘Rosa[1x]’ was immunized once at 7 dph with above mentioned vaccine. Chicken from groups: ‘Rosa_k [2x]’ and ‘Rosa_k [1x]’ were controls to ‘Rosa[2x]’ and ‘Rosa[1x]’ groups, respectively. Four biological replicates from 'Rosa[1x]’ group and three biological replicates from the remaining groups were selected for final analysis. Totally thirteen samples of RNA were analysed. Obtained data were contrasted with our previously reported results - the transcriptomic profiles of broilers vaccinated twice with DNA vaccine vs. treated with empty vector - series accession number GSE102972 and with White Leghorn SPF chickens immunized as broilers.
