资源简介:
Persistent atrial fibrillation (AFib) is the most common persistent cardiac arrhythmia in the United States. It has substantial health hazards, such as the formation of blood clots, stroke, and heart failure. Despite available therapies such as ablation and antiarrhythmic drugs, there is still no absolute cure for AFib. Our study aims to develop a model of AFib for therapeutic research by investigating the genetic and molecular factors using Yucatan mini swine, which closely replicates human cardiac physiology.
