Multiscreen-Dataset

This study introduces the first open-source dataset, Multiscreen-Dataset, which aims to evaluate subjective rating differences in multi-screen video streaming applications. Developed by Kingston University, this dataset includes various encoded video sequences that were subjected to subjective rating tests on three device categories with distinct screen sizes: televisions, tablets, and smartphones. In addition to providing subjective rating data, the dataset also features performance analyses of objective video quality assessment metrics. This dataset has a wide range of application domains, including but not limited to investigating the effects of different screen sizes on user experience, evaluating existing video quality assessment algorithms, designing new parametric models, and conducting cross-laboratory subjective quality assessment research.
