Metagenomes of two tillage treatments from the Frick trial. soil metagenome

Two tillage treatments sampled at three depths at the long-term field trial in Frick (Switzerland) were used for a whole genome sequencing. The aim was to study the influence of different tillage intensities on microbial community structure and functionality throughout the soil profile. Functional analysis focused on genes catalyzing the biosynthesis and export of exo- and lipopolysaccharides.
