Cnidarios del Golfo de México y mar Caribe

The dataset contains information of specimens at the Collection \"Cnidarios del Golfo de México y mar Caribe\" (federal register YUC-CC-254-11) at the UMDI-Sisal, Facultad de Ciencias, UNAM, México. This dataset represents only specimens identified to genus and species (1308 specimens) from 72 localities in coastal lagoons, piers, and coral reefs at the Gulf of Mexico and Mexican Caribbean from a period of time from 2008 to 2017. The specimens at the collection have been either identified or validated by professional cnidarian taxonomists, providing a significant level of trust in the data. The taxonomists that participated in this process appear in the list of authors.

本数据集收录了墨西哥国立自治大学（UNAM）理学院UMDI-Sisal站点的「墨西哥湾与加勒比海刺胞动物馆藏」（联邦登记号：YUC-CC-254-11）标本信息。本数据集仅涵盖2008年至2017年间，采自墨西哥湾及墨西哥加勒比海区域沿岸潟湖、码头与珊瑚礁共72个采样点的、已鉴定至属和种水平的标本，总计1308份。馆藏标本均由专业刺胞动物分类学家完成鉴定或复核，为本数据集的数据可靠性提供了坚实支撑。参与本次鉴定复核工作的分类学家均已列入作者名录。
