Current attempts to modulate human immune response utilizes probiotics or human-derived bacterial transplants.We performed a pilot study in which healthy adults were exposed to diverse microbial community of soil and plant based test material. The trial was safe and feasible and shows exposure material affected gut diversity and modulated immune function in the exposure group.
