Gut microbiota of Japanese children born to atopic mother.. human gut metagenome

Fecal samples were collected from children who's mother had a history of allergic diseases at one week, one month, one year, and five years of age. The 16S rRNA gene hypervariable V1-V2 regions were PCR-amplified using universal primers (a barcoded 27Fmod and 338R) and, multiplexed amplicon pyrosequencing was carried out using Illumina MiSeq.
