Lithium carbonate export value in Chile 2011-2023

In 2023, lithium carbonate exports from Chile amounted to nearly 5.4 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of more than 30 percent in comparison to the previous year. Lithium exports from the Andean country have soared in the past decade, with an increase of more than five-fold registered between 2010 and 2018. Chile is the largest producer of lithium in South America.
