资源简介:
Data collected as part of a social network survey conducted in Mangochi, Malawi. Participants were comprised of fishermen aged 18 and above that belonged to two landing sites. Data was collected over two rounds, baseline and follow-up. The baseline survey captured demographic and health-related variables, such as age, marital status, educational attainment, circumcision status, HIV testing history, and self-reported symptoms and treatment of Schistosomiasis. The follow-up round employed network interviews to assess participants’ social interactions. These interviews documented the nature and frequency of interpersonal contact, topics of discussion (Schistosomiasis, sexual relationships, HIV prevention), and the types of advice and support provided (health advice, emotional, financial, and/or social support).
