This series comprises a manual which was compiled principally from In Orders affecting procedures. The manual was issued in 1968 and was updated by the insertion of amendment sheets during the period February 1972 to February 1986.The entries are arranged in alphabetical order by subject. Each entry has a subject title, sometimes a sub-title, reference to the In Order number (if relevant), full text of the order and usually a printed date, unless it formed part of the original manual.The volume is paginated. There is a subject index at the front of the volume.This series was replaced by New South Wales Fire Brigade Standing Orders in 1986.
