本数据综合了第二次青藏高原综合科学考察研究任务九地质环境与灾害专题一活动断裂与地震灾害科考分队所有参加单位前期以及本次科学考察获得的大量的野外资料基础上,围绕青藏高原及邻近区域重大工程沿线,采用以图件和照片为主要的形式,以写实和展示资料为前提和基础,围绕不同位置工程区域的特点,重点展示了青藏高原及邻区重大工程区域主要活动断裂特征及地震等方面的成果。主要包括了:青藏高原地质地貌特征、青藏高原及邻区重大工程区域主要活动断裂与地震灾害特征、近年来中强震的震害特征、青藏高原及邻区地震灾害风险等四个单元,尽量充分展示了青藏高原及邻区重大工程区域及高原关键构造区主要活动断裂展布、几何和运动机制、强震孕育、地震灾害特征等第一手资料。
This dataset is compiled based on a large volume of field data collected by all participating institutions of the Special Topic 1 (Active Faults and Earthquake Disasters) field investigation team under Task 9 (Geo-environment and Disasters) of the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research (STEP) program, covering both preliminary surveys and the current expedition. Targeting the areas along major engineering projects in the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent regions, this dataset primarily uses maps and photographs as its core presentation formats, adhering to the principles of factual documentation and data display, and tailoring the content to the specific characteristics of engineering zones at different locations, with a focus on showcasing key achievements related to major active fault characteristics and earthquake disasters in major engineering zones of the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent regions. It mainly includes four modules: 1) geological and geomorphic features of the Tibetan Plateau; 2) characteristics of major active faults and earthquake disasters in major engineering zones of the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent regions; 3) disaster characteristics of moderate and strong earthquakes in recent years; and 4) earthquake disaster risks in the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent regions. As much as possible, this dataset comprehensively presents first-hand data on the distribution, geometry and kinematic mechanisms of major active faults, the nucleation of strong earthquakes, and earthquake disaster characteristics in major engineering zones and key tectonic zones of the Tibetan Plateau and its adjacent regions.
