Ear wound healing in MRL/MpJ mice is associated with gut microbiome composition and is transferable to non-healer mice via microbiome transplantation

This study was designed to evaluate whether the cecal microbiome associates with the 'superhealer' earhole closure phenotype noted in MRL/MpJ mice, and whether this trait is transferrable to non-healer B6 mice via gut microbiome transplantation.
