The accession contains physical profile data in the TESAC format. This contains one month data that was sent as radio messages from ships to Ocean Products Center (OPC) in April 1990. Data was collected as part of Integrated Global Ocean Service System (IGOSS) and was received from Mr. William D. Newll of the OPC, Camp Springs, Maryland. The data on magnetic disk has been copied to current NODC data storage format.
