Surface sediments and sediment cores were collected from the sea floor with Ekman-Birge grab sampler and gravity corer, respectively. Grain size, mineral composition (XRD), lipids (biomarker), microfossils (e.g., palynomorph) and stratigraphic data will be analyzed from these sediments.
