While there he took a series of photographs of the hospital and grounds, staff nurses, and fellow medical residents. The caption on the back of the photograph reads: "Medical 'Mokes[?]': East: Spooner, Gregg, Kinnicutt, Chapin; West: Sawyer, Smith, Young, Sadler." It is assumed that "East" and "West" refer to the location of each individual's home or where they attended school.
