Reliefs with biblical scenes
These are two Biblical reliefs depicting different scenes and making the one relief together, when on the wall. Possibly, picturing Adoration of the Shepherds and Adoration of the Magi (Adoration of the Kings) respectively. The Adoration of the Shepherds, in the Nativity of Jesus in art, is a scene in which shepherds are near witnesses to the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, arriving soon after the actual birth. It is often combined in the art with the Adoration of the Magi, in which case it is typically just referred to by the latter title. The Adoration of the Magi or Adoration of the Kings is the name traditionally given to the subject in the Nativity of Jesus in art in which the three Magi, represented as kings, especially in the West, having found Jesus by following a star, lay before him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and worship him.
据推测,二者分别为《牧羊人敬拜》(Adoration of the Shepherds)与《三王来朝》(Adoration of the Magi,又称Adoration of the Kings)。
