Amplicon-Based Survey of Zooplankton in Peninsular Malaysia Coastal Waters

This project focuses on monitoring zooplankton communities in the coastal waters of Peninsular Malaysia, specifically around Pulau Kukup, Pengerang, and Pulau Besar. Seawater samples were collected and analyzed using high-throughput amplicon sequencing on the Illumina platform. The generated raw sequencing data provides valuable insights into the diversity and composition of zooplankton populations in these ecologically significant marine areas, supporting future efforts in marine biodiversity conservation and ecosystem management.
