Dataset for Determinants of University-Industry Linkages in Ethiopian Public Universities

This dataset contains anonymized survey responses collected from academic staff across multiple Ethiopian public universities as part of a study examining the determinants of University-Industry Linkages (UIL). The dataset includes the final validated 19 measurement items representing three independent variables-Institutional Coordination & Individual Champions (IC&IC), Geographic Proximity (GP), and Government Support (GS)-as well as the dependent variable, Depth & Sustainability of UIL (DS). All items are measured on a 5-point Likert scale. Basic non-identifiable demographic variables are also included.All personal identifiers and metadata (names, phone numbers, timestamps, device IDs) have been removed to ensure confidentiality. The dataset is provided in both CSV and SPSS formats, accompanied by a codebook describing variable names, item wording, and measurement scales.This dataset supports the analyses reported in the associated manuscript and is shared to promote transparency, reproducibility, and further research on UIL in developing-country contexts.本数据集收录了从埃塞俄比亚多所公立高校学术人员处收集的匿名调查问卷回复，系某项探究大学-产业合作（University-Industry Linkages, UIL）影响因素的研究的组成部分。该数据集包含经最终验证的19个测量条目，涵盖三类自变量——机构协调与个人推动者（Institutional Coordination & Individual Champions, IC&IC）、地理邻近性（Geographic Proximity, GP）与政府支持（Government Support, GS），以及因变量大学-产业合作的深度与可持续性（Depth & Sustainability of UIL, DS）。所有测量条目均采用5点李克特（Likert）量表进行量化。此外，数据集还包含若干基础的非识别性人口统计学变量。为保障研究对象的机密性，所有个人标识符与元数据（姓名、电话号码、时间戳、设备ID）均已完成脱敏处理。本数据集同时提供CSV与SPSS两种格式，并附带一份编码手册，用于说明变量名称、条目措辞与测量量表。本数据集可支撑关联研究手稿中报告的各类分析工作，其公开共享旨在提升研究透明度、可重复性，并推动发展中国家语境下大学-产业合作领域的进一步研究。
