Selaginella bryopteris desiccation duration-based RNA Sequencing

This study has been conducted to understand the effect of desiccation duration on the recovery of the Selaginella bryopteris. Control, 1-year-old and 2-year-old samples were rehydrated from the desiccated form and used for RNA sequencing to understand the molecular changes due to desiccation duration in the recovery of Selaginella bryopteris. This study will provide more information about the long-term desiccation tolerance and recovery mechanisms in Selaginella bryopteris. Understanding long-term desiccation tolerance mechanisms will help in the translation of these findings to agricultural crop plants.
