This coarse earthenware, unglazed "olla jar" was recovered in 1966 by Stanely South from the Russellborough site (31BW556) in Brunswick County, NC (Accession no. 66011a4). Russellborough was one of the most notable structures at Brunswick Town/Fort Anderson State Historic Site because it was the residence of two royal colonial governors, Gov. Arthur Dobbs and Gov. William Tryon. It was originally built by Capt. John Russell in 1751 and was eventually burned by the British at the beginning of the American Revolution. Archaeological investigations at the site have shown a number of interesting features about the house including a 30-foot-long tunnel extending from one corner of the house, where this complete jar was found. The jar measures 30.5 cm tall, 19 cm wide at the base, with a 13.2 cm orifice diameter, and weighs 5306 grams. This model was constructed by David Cranford with 160 photos using Agisoft Metashape software. (Credit: NCDNCR/OSA) Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

(致谢:NCDNCR/OSA)数据来源:Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
