Filtered GBIF dataset of occurrences for food species in the brown bear (Ursus arctos) trophic database

We reviewed 47 studies of brown bear diet in Europe by searching in SCI Journals, master’s and PhD theses, and grey literature. We obtained a list of 276 species in the brown bear diet in Europe and Turkey. We used the R package rgbif to download occurrences of each food species from the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF). We selected occurrences of food species, with an uncertainty of <1 km2, in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East for the period 1989–2018.本研究通过检索SCI期刊、硕士及博士学位论文与灰色文献，梳理了欧洲地区共47项棕熊食性相关研究。最终整理得到欧洲及土耳其境内棕熊的食物物种共计276种。本研究使用R语言包rgbif从全球生物多样性信息设施（Global Biodiversity Information Facility, GBIF）下载各食物物种的分布记录，并筛选出1989年至2018年间、空间不确定性小于1平方千米的欧洲、北非及中东地区的物种分布记录。
