A new species of Tetrataenium (Tordyliinae, Apiaceae) from SW Yunnan, China, based on morphological and molecular data. Tetrataenium mianguaqi

Tetrataenium mianguaqi, a traditionally used medical herb in Cangyuan County, SW Yunnan, China, is described as a species new to science and illustrated. Molecular phylogenetic analysis based on nuclear ITS well supports its belonging to Tetrataenium sensu stricto. The new species morphologically resembles T. olgae, but can be easily distinguished by lower branch and slender stems, basal and lower peltate leaves.
