"Cotinga communication constrained: body size and lekking behaviour influence cotinga song (Aves: Cotingidae)"

This supplementary material includes the constructed vocalization and trait datasets, as well as the R code for the "Cotinga communication constrained: body size and lekking behaviour influence cotinga song (Aves: Cotingidae)" manuscript. In this manuscript, we investigated the influence of morphology, ecology and mating system on bird songs by focusing on a the cotinga family. Tab descriptions can be found in the MetaData tab. For the statistical analyses in ESM6, ESM7 and ESM8, we included the statistical analyses without the six 'classical' lekking cotinga species, and the analyses without the three cotinga species with only female body mass. Statistical analyses were conducted using R statistical environment v.4.4.1. All other information can be found in the manuscript.本补充材料包含构建完成的发声数据集与特征数据集，以及《伞鸟科交流受限：体型与求偶场行为影响伞鸟鸣唱（鸟纲：伞鸟科）》论文配套的R代码。本研究以伞鸟科鸟类为研究对象，探讨形态学、生态学与婚配制度对鸟类鸣唱的影响。表格说明可于元数据（MetaData）标签页查阅。针对ESM6、ESM7及ESM8中的统计分析，本研究设置了两组分析方案：一组剔除6种“经典”求偶场伞鸟物种，另一组剔除仅拥有雌鸟体重数据的3种伞鸟物种。所有统计分析均基于R统计环境v.4.4.1完成。其余相关信息可查阅原论文。
