A TYPOLOGY OF ARTISTIC REPRESENTATIONS OF PERSONALITY IN AMERICAN PROSE

This article explores the typology of artistic representations of personality in American prose. The study aims to identify and classify dominant literary models of personality as reflected in works by American authors of different periods. Based on a qualitative analysis of selected texts, the research focuses on character construction, narrative strategies, and cultural context. The findings reveal several recurring personality types—including the individualist, the rebel, the self-made individual, and the alienated subject—which reflect broader socio-cultural and ideological shifts in American society.本文探讨美国散文中人格艺术表征的类型学。本研究旨在识别并归类不同时期美国作家作品中所体现的主流人格文学范式。本研究基于对精选文本的质性分析，聚焦于人物塑造、叙事策略与文化语境三大研究维度。研究结果揭示了数种反复出现的人格类型——包括个人主义者、反叛者、白手起家者与异化主体——这些类型映射出美国社会更广泛的社会文化与意识形态变迁。
