School-based Assaultive Violence Prevention in Middle and High Schools Scoping Review Search Strategy

A summary of the search results from databases: APA PsycINFO (EBSCOhost): 1,216 results; PubMed (NLM): 1,227 results; ERIC (EBSCOhost): 1,574 results; NCJRS Abstracts (ProQuest): 1,214 results; Applied Social Sciences Index & Abstracts (ProQuest): 310 results; Web of Science Core Collection (Clarivate Analytics): 665 results. The search resulted in 6,616 studies and 1,485 duplicate studies were found and omitted by the librarian (OGC) using the EndNote 20. This resulted in 5,100 records to screen from databases and 41 to screen from other methods, resulting in a total of 5,141 records. Studies were screened by title and abstract by two blinded and independent reviewers. If a tiebreaker was needed, a third reviewer was used. This process was repeated for full text screening and data selection.
