Share of women using fitness facilities in Japan 2023, by age group and type

According to a survey on the utilization of fitness services and facilities that was conducted in Japan in August 2023, 7.3 percent of women in their twenties stated that they had used such facilities with the guidance of a personal trainer during the past year, while 7.7 percent had worked out without a personal trainer. This was one of the age cohorts that recorded high participation figures.
