The database serves as comprehensive record of the welding spot process, including
- The monitor of crucial process parameters such as current and force during the nugget formation.
- Record of input parameters such as current, welding time, applied force to the electrodes, and characteristics of the material used as thickness and material type.
- Welding output of as the mechanical resistance and nugget diameter, along with its corresponding classification.
Additionally, images of the melting point (nugget) were taken with a thermographic camera and digital camera to link the relationship between input parameters for each unit build.
