IODP Expedition 379 Magnetic susceptibility (whole round)

Magnetic susceptibility was measured on whole-round sections (and rarely section halves) on the Whole-Round Multisensor Logger (WRMSL) and/or Special Task Multisensor Logger (STMSL) using a Bartington MS2 meter and a 90 mm or 80 mm MS2C loop. As volume of the sample is not controlled for this experiment, susceptibility units are recorded in instrument units and are not volume-corrected.本实验采用巴丁顿MS2磁化率仪（Bartington MS2 meter）搭配90 mm或80 mm规格的MS2C型感应线圈（MS2C loop），借助全圆多传感器测井仪（Whole-Round Multisensor Logger, WRMSL）和/或专用任务多传感器测井仪（Special Task Multisensor Logger, STMSL），对整柱岩心段（少数情况下为半切片岩心段）开展磁化率测量。由于本实验未对样品体积进行管控，因此磁化率单位以仪器单位记录，未进行体积校正。
