Effect of retaliatory killing on coalition size, tenure period and community attitude towards retaliation effect on lion population

Data on male lion coalition was obtained from a long-term studyof Tarangire Lion Project collected through lion monitoring from 2004 to 2018. A total of 46 coalition groups were obtained and mapped to assess whether there are located in retaliation risk areas or not. Data on the survey of assessing the community awareness on the effect of retaliatory killing to lion population was collected through questionnaire survey. The survey was conduxted to the villages surrounding the protected areas and the villages were selecetd based on the record of lion killing collected ovr the past 14 years.

雄性雄狮联盟的相关数据，取自塔兰吉雷狮子项目（Tarangire Lion Project）的长期研究，该研究于2004年至2018年间通过狮子监测工作开展。本次研究共获取46个雄狮联盟的信息，并进行空间制图，以评估其是否处于报复性猎杀风险区域内。用于评估社区对报复性猎杀影响狮子种群这一问题的认知度的调查数据，通过问卷调查方式采集。本次调查的受访对象为保护区周边村落，村落的选取依据是过去14年间记录的狮子遭猎杀事件档案。
