Change in number of exhibitors at trade shows in the U.S. 2011-2020

In 2019 a survey was conducted to gauge the state of the conventions and meetings industry in the United States. The results of the survey show that 30 percent of respondents reported an increase in the number of exhibitors from 2018 to 2019, and 33 percent expected another increase from 2019 to 2020. However, it needs to be noted that the study was done long before the coronavirus outbreak which largely influenced the performance of this sector.
