Statistical mechanics aims to model systems that have lots of small interacting parts, that act randomly but favour certain configurations. Once taking these small parts to be inordinately large, macroscopic phenomena that is deterministic and not random may emerge, despite the aforementioned presence of randomness at small scales. This thesis examines such phenomena using the Potts model, on the special structures of sub-exponential trees. These trees are such, that the small parts are arranged in a specific way, as to mimic our real world to an extent, but without introducing 'loops' .
