资源简介:
This is the publicly-accessible dataset collected by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife containing metadata from treponeme-associated hoof disease surveillance of Roosevelt elk from northern California. We report trace mineral concentrations from collected livers analyzed using inductively coupled plasma- optical emission spectroscopy. The data presented here were analyzed for the article accepted to Journal of Wildlife Diseases entitled "Liver Mineral Levels Associated with Hoof Disease Occurrence and Severity in Roosevelt Elk (Cervus canadensis) in California, USA" by SN Winter, MA Wild, E Lantz, C Hilson, KD Watson, JM Yamauchi, and KP Huyvaert. Mineral concentrations are reported in parts per million (ppm). ND = Concentration below detectable limits. Minimum detectable concentrations for analytes are as follows: Arsenic = 1, Cadmium = 0.3, Copper = 0.3, Iron = 1, Lead = 1, Manganese = 0.1, Mercury = 1, Molybdenum = 0.4, Selenium = 0.2, Zinc = 0.3.
