本数据集的采集搭载平台为sprint 103型遥控水下机器人（Remotely Operated Vehicle，ROV），该平台配备36mm静态胶片相机；拍摄采用柯达埃克塔克罗姆100（Kodak Ektachrome 100）胶片，后续经尼康Super CoolScan 4000ED扫描仪完成数字化，并以JPEG压缩格式存储。同一条观测样带上的海底影像采用相同镜头系统，以U-matic（低画质）格式录制；数据联系人：J. 古特（J. Gutt），邮箱：julian.gutt@awi.de
