A high quality draft assembly of the genome of Aotus nancymaae will be produced using DNA from a single individual, and read data generated using the Illumina platform. In addition to the deep genome sequence coverage of the reference animal, BCM-HGSC generate whole genome sequences from additional owl monkey individuals in order to identify DNA sequence variation for this species.
