Plasmid sequencing of a t008 MRSA isolate recovered from retail chicken wing sample

Plasmid isolated from an MRSA strain carrying the resistant genes ant(6)-Ia, aph(3')-IIIa, blaI, mph(C),msr(A) which act against the antibiotic classes aminoglycosides, beta-lactams, and macrolides was sequenced. The study aimed to investigate the source of exhibited multiple resistance by the isolate.
