The aimed experiment focuses on exploring the phase stability and electronic properties of ferropericlase, with xFe = 0.2 and xFe = 0.8, utilizing the Synchrotron Mössbauer Source spectroscopy and Single-Crystal X-ray diffraction up to 140 GPa and 1200 K. The results will help us have a better understanding of the effects of the Fe contents and temperature on the physical properties of ferropericlase, as well as give implications to the anomalous behavior of seismic waves in regions near the core-mantle boundary.
