资源简介:

The atmospheric monitoring facility at Cape Meares, Oregon is operated by the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology and was the first station in the world to carry out continuous automated measurements of atmospheric methane (CH4). The Cape Meares site is isolated from populated areas by the presence of a coastal mountain range, and due to the dominance of westerly winds, is influenced by largely unpolluted Pacific air masses. The data collected at Cape Meares represent nearly 119,000 individual atmospheric methane measurements carried out during 1979-1992. Daily and monthly values are also available. All of the data are available via anonymous FTP from CDIAC: ftp cdiac.esd.ornl.gov cd pub/db1007 cmeares.all - 2.14 MB file for all individual atmospheric methane measurements carried out 12 to 72 times daily during 1979-1992 at Cape Meares. cmeares.day - 189 kB file containing daily averages from 1979-1992 derived from "cmeares.all". cmeares.mon - 10 kB file containing monthly averages from 1979-1991 derived from "cmeares.day" and "cmeares.all".
