Data and code for older-adult gastric cancer burden and four-factor demographic decomposition in China and 65 prespecified countries, 1990-2023
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains derived analysis tables, figure source data, publication-ready figure files, audit notes, and Python scripts supporting a Journal of Global Health manuscript on gastric cancer burden among adults aged 60 years or older in China and 65 prespecified countries from 1990 to 2023.The main analysis uses Global Burden of Disease 2023 stomach cancer estimates to describe older-adult incidence, mortality, disability-adjusted life-years, WHO-standardised 60+ rates, country heterogeneity, and selected GBD comparative-risk-attributable burden. Absolute changes in cases, deaths, and DALYs are decomposed by four-factor Shapley averaging into all-age population growth, shift into the 60+ population share, within-60+ age-structure change, and age-specific rate change. The deposit also includes supplementary ecological risk-context outputs and exploratory Mendelian-randomisation evidence-audit outputs. The genetic outputs remain exploratory/provisional and are not used to estimate population-attributable fractions, explain national GBD differences, or support ranked prevention claims. The 66-country set is an analytic subset and not a causal or policy exposure. No individual-level identifiable participant data are included. Original third-party public source data should be obtained from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation GBD Results Tool and the relevant public GWAS repositories under their own terms of use.
