This dataset includes 3 folders. Folder <strong>recurring-patterns</strong> contains successful untangling cases we manually inspect and classify into each pattern. In one instance folder, it contains src code before and after a commit (src/), cyclic files presented in dependency graph before and after a commit (cycle-dependency-change/), all modified files presented in dependency graph before and after a commit (all-modified-files-dependency-change), detailed code diff (diff.txt), and mined refactoring operations from RefactoringMiner 2.0.0 (refactor.json). Folder<strong> common-mistakes</strong> contains cases where dependency cycles are not correctly resolved. The file structure of each instance is the same as above. Folder <strong>design-characteristics </strong>contains a csv file, which list the internal dependency relations of cyclic files and their design context.
